Timothy Friend is a filmmaker and recent graduate from Connecticut College with a degree in Film Studies, specializing in Cinematography, Editing, and Animatronics/Practical FX. With experience in roles ranging from Director of Photography to Director/Producer, he developed a deep understanding of visual storytelling and a passion for creating emotionally resonant narratives.
In addition to his academic training, he's independently advanced his technical skills in animation, color correction, and basic special effects, utilizing tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. His practical effects work includes crafting animatronic puppets and designing characters from foam and other materials, combining creativity with technical precision.
He is committed to telling heartfelt stories that foster connection and understanding, striving to create films that leave a lasting impact.
